Yesterday, at Bremo Auctions, I took the Hester Bateman Sugar Urn which I bought from you all 3 years ago to Sam Perry, who is their appraiser here in Charlottesville, Va. …She said, “Oh, they are the BEST antique dealers on the West Coast” which of course I know! I didn’t need an appraisal but just wanted to show it to her….all good here.

This store is a nice browse! The antiques are interesting and of high quality. There are some Asian and Oriental influenced items mixed with the mostly European. I really liked the larger building and its architectural details. Nice place to visit inside and out.

Surprisingly huge store that extends back into the block where it features a gallery area. We really enjoyed the quality of the antiques, and in particular the paintings and prints. The hand blown art glass in the back gallery area was stunning and affordably priced. All the items appear to be in excellent shape, and beautiful representations of their kind, as the name of the store implies.

Lots to see here….many of the items in the shop are one of a kind and in very nice condition. Saw some really old furniture and record players.

Beautiful shop, chockful of treasure, the sort of place you’ll get lost in, fantasizing about yesteryear. They have loads of assorted and sundry items … the best thing is t go with no goal and no must have item. Let yourself be drawn into another era–the 6 of us felt free to pick up items and caress them. The prices are on the items, so you don’t have to go running up to the front for every little thing. There’s a sense of charm and wonder … the owners are friendly, warm, welcoming. A fantastic find, perfectly tucked away in the town that beckons items of the past.

Everyone is so nice and helpful. Beautiful things throughout….A definite destination while shopping in Solvang.

Worth seeing….many interesting pieces…some very unusual!…good place to window shop…even if you do not intend to buy anything…
