About Pierre Le Faguays
Pierre Le Faguays (1892-1962) was an important sculptor born in Nantes, France and became famous for his lithe female figures. He met sculptors Marcel Bouraine and Max Le Verrier while they were prisoners of war in Germany. He later studied with both at the Beaux Arts in Geneva, and the Le Verrier foundry produced many of his statues.
