Vintage French oval sapphire & baguette diamond 18K ring, circa 1950. This 18 karat yellow gold ring features a 1.25 carat oval sapphire center flanked by .10 carat baguette diamond on each side. The baguette diamonds are VVS2 clarity and F color. There are also five round brilliant diamonds one either side at .50 carat total weight having VS clarity and F-G color. The sapphire is an exceptional deep blue color that shows well in this raised setting. This vintage sapphire and diamond ring is a size 5.5. The ring weighs 3.78 grams. The sapphire measures 5.40 x 6.45mm.
