Description

Antique English Matthew Boulton inkwell set, circa 1800. This George III inkwell set by Matthew Boulton is Sheffield plate. The antique inkwell set features mahogany with standish top, rectangular stand fitted with a single drawer and raised on four foliate scroll supports. Gadrooned top is fitted with a crystal inkpot, sand pot, and taper stick. Note broken holder for ink pot.
