Description

Antique Judith bronze clad statue, circa 1900. Judith is a bronze clad statue that is signed on the back, but is illegible. Cladding is a form of metalwork in which two metals are fused together, bronze over iron in this case. The sheet of bronze resists wear unlike plated items. It is not spelter.
