Estate 69 carat black star sapphire ring, circa 2010. This custom made ring is crafted in 14 karat white gold featuring a 69 carat round black star sapphire. The sapphire has four clear, centered, straight-arm rays that reach over half the surface of the stone. There are also 72 channel set princess cut diamonds going around the base of the sapphire setting and all the way around the bottom of the ring. Then princess cut diamonds have a 1.65 carat total weight with VS1-2 clarity and G-H color. Note 10 accent diamonds are chipped bringing them down to I1 clarity. The ring has a total weight of 25.7 grams, is a size 5.5, and is appraised at $11,000.
