Logsdail exhibited regularly at the famed Royal Academy. His architectural painting entitled “The Piazza of St Marks Venice” was judged to be the painting of the year in 1885 by the Royal Academy. The painting was recently auctioned off with a pre-auction estimate of nearly $1,000,000. Logsdail was a prolific artist in landscape & portrait genres, but was initially trained, and excelled in, architectural design. His works are exhibited at all of the finest venues.
